Diagnosis for Cirrhosis are:

Liver biopsy
Liver biopsy is remove tissue from the liver and studying it under a microscope to identify fibrosis and scarring.Biopsy is the only way diagnosis can be 100% certain.





Imaging Test - CT scan,ultrasound
Computed tomography (CT),and ultrasound are all imaging techniques that are useful in detecting and definig the extent of cirrhosis.Such test can reveal ascites (water accumulating in the abdomen), an irregular liver surface and liver cancel.

    

Laparoscope
An instrument that is inserted through the abdomen that relays images onto a computer screen.

Blood tests
To check whether the liver is functioning normally.

Physical exam
During a physical exam, your doctor can observe changes in how your liver feels or how large it is (a cirrhotic liver is bumpy and irregular instead of smooth).
